Community Lead

Lightfox Games is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Community Lead to join our Seattle, WA based team to work on fun and exciting new games.

COVID-19 Hiring Update: We’ve transitioned to a work-from-home model. This role is expected to begin as a remote position, working on a West Coast time schedule. We understand each person’s circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore possible options.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and execute impactful community growth strategies for our games

  • Own, develop, and drive a social media content calendar

  • Foster, grow, and manage our community outreach, developing the ground floor relationships with our players to create fans for life

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships within the player communities online

  • Regular reporting to the team on current community trends, sentiment, and channel performance; use data to inform recommendations for ongoing community outreach initiatives, messaging, and promotions to both existing and prospective customers

  • Be the voice and act on behalf of our players. Bring their voice into team discussions and meetings; ensure consumer sentiment, desires, and needs are understood and met through ongoing promotional support and the development of our products

  • Help create video content for new releases, features, and content

Requirements

If you’re an outgoing, self-motivated, and experienced communications professional or content creator, you might be the right fit as our Community Lead. The ideal person is someone who has built a following around a game or one of their own. Ideally, you write well, present well, and have demonstrable community growth and management experience.

  • 3+ years of community management or content creation experience, preferably for a game or consumer product

  • Demonstrable experience creating and executing community-focused engagement campaigns specifically designed to foster, grow, and promote the loyalty and passion of your game’s community

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a portfolio of published professional work; ideally in a variety of mediums including long-form and social media

  • A self-starter with proven ability to work both in a team setting, as well as independently to contribute to the company’s growth and success

  • Solid understanding of mobile games and free to play mechanics

  • A passion for gaming, esports, or lifestyle brands

  • On-camera experience and comfort a plus
